Steps to restart a BlackBerry using the keyboard keys
1. Press the ALT + CAPS + DEL keys by keeping them held down (see the example).
2. When the light turns solid red your BlackBerry is now beginning the resart process. You can stop pressing the keys down at this point.
3. Give it some time and it will restart. Now you should soon begin see the reboot progress indicator.
