How to Get an Image Size in Pixels





This example show you a fast way to get image size dimensions in pixels using Windows XP.

It's sometimes useful to see this dimension size information at-a-glance and especially if you need to see many images at once inside a folder.

Steps to view image size in pixels:

1. View the folder / directory where your image exists.

2. Right + Click any open space within the folder to display the View menu option as the example shows and select Tiles so that the icons appear as tiles.

3. Locate your image once again in the new tiles view described in the previous step. The icon should now appear like the example below with pixel size information provided under the image file name. In the example presented here, the image dimensions are 261 x 137 pixels. That's 261 pixels in width and 137 pixels in height.
